What is PiYo?
PiYo is a stretching, strengthening and conditioning workout that combines the athletics of Pilates with the mind and body techniques of Yoga. As in Pilates, strength and core conditioning are the focus, which is achieved in collaboration with the balance of Yoga.
How is PiYo performed?
A typical PiYo session is dynamic and will include Yoga postures as well as Pilates positions and exercises, therefore demanding strength, balance and flexibility while being easy on the mind and joints. Your heart works out without over exerting itself.
